Wow, we just experienced a tequila tasting at Javi’s tonight . This is the third one I’ve been to in Mexico, and this tops them all. We had some great tequila, learned a lot about the different kinds of tequila , and got a great insight on what pits with each type. Well worth the money ! Then we had a wonderful meal in the courtyard. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Javi is such an interesting teacher and conversationalist along with being a fantastic chef! He taught us about mole sauce, and then we tried it on a delicious tender chicken breast! We had so much fun watching and learning as Javi prepared our delicious pan seared achiote wahoo fillet! The flavors were incredible! I can hardly wait to go back for more of the poblano guacamole, mango coconut ceviche, and avocado ice cream! And the hibiscus margaritas!

We had the best time at the tequila class and dinner afterwards was amazing! Javi was great! We had so much fun learning about mezcal and tequila! We told them to surprise us with dinner and we were not disappointed! They served us a fabulous salad with shrimp and a lobster bisque. The pineapple margarita and hibiscus infused tequila were superb! Don’t miss out!
